So the store is going pretty well and I want to thank people who have already purchased some stuff, it's helping A LOT more than you would think, but every sale counts so if you're on the fence let me fill you in a little bit on why I'm kinda hounding people into buying over the net first.
Basically this shit ain't cheap, and I'm really trying to make sure if I do this, I'm going to do it right. I've been going over all my options so that I can make sure that I can put out a perfect product which really comes down to how I get it printed and the quality of the garments as well as all the little things in between like swing tags, labeling and packaging. I've been talking to different screen printers trying to make sure they can deliver on the kind of quality I'm expecting to produce, looking at all different options between brands and makes for garments and working out the best and most cost effective ways to label and finish the products. Unfortunately all this stuff costs a bit more than average if you want to do it well and not just pump it out and because I have the luxury of time as I have no actual deadlines (though it might help) I want to take that little bit longer to save up some cash and make sure when you get your For Whom The Bell Tolls stuff in the mail, it exceeds your expectations.
So basically all this means that if I can get a few more pre-sales it'll help that little bit more to get it all out quicker. Paypal is (suprisingly) easy to use and once you have an account you can pay via paypal direct or with a credit or debit cards so you can pay however you want. If you want to skip that altogether that's cool, just send me an email and we can work it out so you can pay in person and I can drop it off or post it out to you, no worries.
Anyway enough of my bullshit, I couldn't put up a post without some eye candy, so here's a sneak peek into my sordid process, a bunch of sketches from the last couple days. I've really been trying to get on top of drawing everyday, not so easy when you work around 9-10 hours a day (definitely helps that I like my job) but I'm getting there.
Cheers
Roh

I think its awesome that youre putting heaps of thought into where to get it done and the quality and shiz, rather than just pump out as much cheap shit as possible.
ReplyDeleteAlso, those sketches are hawt.
Cheers brother, I figure there's no point in doing something half assed, may as well take my time to do it right.
